There is a somewhat comical element to this 12-track, 47-minute offering from Star Song Music which is that there is absolutely no need for any attempt to promote it as in some way scientifically designed for the various aspects of a workout (warm-up, work out and cool-down; the beats per minute of each track are given on the sleeve!) when the material stands alone as a collection of high quality, interesting and varied worship songs. The artist list (all American) contains few household names this side of the Atlantic (Chris Tomlin being the primary exception, and it should be noted that there have been a lot of Grammy Awards won between them) but this fact should put nobody off from getting hold of a copy. The variety come is the form of soul, rap and (predominantly) an edgy pop/rock fusion, with good tempo and thematic changes. If you go along with the idea of worship music during your exercise workouts this may well be for you.
