This three-CD collection of modern worship songs written by the leading lights of the UK worship music scene offers quite excellent value for money. The popular and not-so-well-known mix well as does the contrast between high tempo and more meditational efforts that give a good balance to the range of 50 songs here. Songs like Johnny Parks' excellent "There's A New Song", Paul Oakley's typically rocky "And After All" and Lara Martin's ballady "My Heart Is Captivated" on disc one epitomize the broad appeal that's apparent throughout the album. Anyone listening to this would struggle not to find something that appeals. So on the basis of value alone, this gets good marks though obviously you will need to check to see whether you have most of these tracks already.
