Essential Christian have now established this annual live worship compilation and this latest set, featuring as it does live recordings from the big UK events such as Spring Harvest, New Day, Soul Survivor and Keswick along with some American origin tracks from Jesus culture, Chris McClarney and United Pursuit, is a pretty good way of keeping up-to-date with the latest successful modern worship songs. Standouts here are "Sound Of Adoration" by Jesus Culture featuring Bryan Torwalt; Chris McClarney's "Hallelujah For The Cross"; and the uplifting "Reckless Love", taken from the 'Only The Brave' Spring Harvest album though no one would claim that the version here is as good as the Cory Asbury Dove Award-winning original. There are some excellent worship leaders featured here including Lou Fellingham, Bright City and Stuart Townend. So, all in all, a pretty good sampler on what is continuing to happen in the modern worship movement.
