This latest release by Kingsway comes in a CD/DVD package, though in many ways this is more of a double album with a twist. You see, unlike many other albums which come with a DVD of live recordings tacked on, the DVD on 'You Worship' contains 10 completely different songs to those on the audio CD. This makes the DVD a must watch experience, as you would only be getting half of the songs if you listened to the CD alone and ignored the DVD. Compare this to many modern albums where the included DVD seems something of an afterthought, and suddenly the appeal of 'You Worship' becomes even more apparent. Both discs contain a mix of old (at least in the last 15 years) and new worship songs, and the vast majority are also recorded by the original artist. There is also a good variety of songs, including those not often seen on these types of compilation albums. Songs such as "What Good Is It To Gain" by Tim Hughes, which though a good song did not seem to be an obvious congregational song, sit nicely alongside more "obvious" choices such as "Strength Will Rise" which seems to appear on eight out of 10 worship albums. What you have here then is the usual high quality music production you would expect from a Kingsway release, but with something a little bit special in comparison to most double albums.
