Comment:	You are right to point out the dangers and limitations of alliance with any one political faction. In the US, however, it was taught openly and almost universally in 'evangelical' churches, that anyone who didn't vote for Bush was opposing God himself. Interestingly, many of those evangelicals voted differently recently. Perhaps God changed his mind. Evangelicals amaze me.
