Comment:	To Mercy: There's no copy of the Quran that deals "comprehensively" with Holy War! In fact, there's nothing that's called Holy War in Islam and the translation of Jihad into Holy War is only a Western fabrication that is based only on the Christian heritage of the crusades. Jihad means STRUGGLE, not war, let alone a holy one. War is obligatory for Muslims only in the cases of self-defense. Jihad (struggle) can take many forms for Muslims, most importantly the struggle against temptation and sin. Moreover, the word "holy" in itself is a foreign concept to Islam.
