Yes uniqueness has got to do with what's in an artists' songs rather than who that artist is. However, the relationship an artist has with God will surely reflect in their songs i believe. I tend to view Pastor Jane as a "God's heart bit" minister in her style. God said he will put a new song on our lips; this is what i see in this album. It takes a nigerian to understand this i presume; with the influx of gospel albums from Lots of artists from the American region, it has been almost impossible to be creative and attentive to the Holy Spirit teaching a new song; especially for gospel artists in this region. You often hear a remix of the same regular church worship songs by virtually almost 3 different artist; and the irony of it all is that they all enter the gospel market and you can almost say to yourself "Not again" ! Honest truth, this is different. New songs to learn, a unique praise worship style that is sure new to Nigerian congregations. I know that Jane Pela is just different with a style. "Be wise" has inspired me greatly and words from it give me a daily boost to face all odds of what the society presents before me, i must admit. I enjoyed "In Him" too and recommend to anyone who lacks confidence in doing things. "Sing aloud" album is more than a song to me, it's a ministration. I look forward to Jane's newest album with so much enthuz!
