Comment:	I became a christian in the year 1990 and the first christian music that I heard that I thought is really interesting for me was 'Darn Floor Big Bite' by Daniel Amos. Shortly after that somebody gave me the Daniel Amos record 'Fearful symmetry'. This album that sounds like a mixture of Beatles, Beach Boys, Captain Beafheart and Hank Williams and is influenced by poets like William Blake and Kierkegaard is still one of my alltime favourites. From that moment on I collected everything by Terry Taylor and the bands he is involved in (Daniel Amos, The Swirling Eddies, The Lost Dogs) and cds that are produced by him (Randy Stonehill, Starflyer59, Jacobs Trouble a.o.). I even bought books from William Blake, Kierkegaard and frederik Buechner because of Daniel Amos. Today I got hundreds of christian Cds but when I have a hard time and need some encouragement I mainly listen to Daniel Amos and some other musicians from the seventies and the eighties.
