Comment:	Wildly creative, relevant, thoroughly Bible-based, and way ahead of its time, Joey G and the BHV communicated the Gospel in a way that engaged a media-savvy generation. I've been doing Children's Ministry for over 17 years and have yet to find anything else like it. My two oldest children (now adults) still know all the words, and I still use Joey G songs in our Children's worship time. Alas, I'm afraid it was too hip for the inwardly-focused Christian market. That's a shame, because as with so much Christian media today, it just doesn't reach those who need the Gospel the most. Especially in our post-Christian, post-literate culture, we need more Joey Gs willing to risk the disapproval of good Christian folks to reach a new generation with the love of Jesus Christ.
