Comment: Dear Mohobir Sisters, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your father Phil. I just found out today that he passed in 2004. The world is less because of his passing. Many years ago, (1983?) a group of 10 men from Community Gospel Church in NJ, USA under Ray Ciervo went to a small village outside Georgetown, Guyana, called Hauraruni with your father to help build a home for orphaned children. I am one of those men. I would like to tell you I have never forgotten your father or the wonderful brothers and sisters I met there. Your father changed my life on that trip. I wanted to thank him and let him know for the last 27 years I have been praying for him and his mininstry. Again I am sorry for your loss 7 years ago. On that trip, one night he and I were talking when he shared with me that several times as he wlaked through the jungle he would suffer fainting spells from over working. That was a big concern for both of us. I have been praying that our Lord would provide strength for your dad and wisdom to know when to slow down and when to say no and what to say yes to. Your father was very dedicated. Your dad and mom have changed the lives of many. May God bless all he labered in. His memory and vision lives on. Best Regards Jim Blackwood
