Comment: Top notch CCM singer/songwriter/producer Wayne Kirkpatrick introduces this fresh new artist's debut in August 1999. A similar styled sound as songbird Susan Ashton; incidentally Wayne produced her projects. Great ccm sound starts off the 10 song set. Jill's self penned "I Am" grabbed hold of me at first listen. Wayne provides super bgv's for this cd, also Gordon Kennedy. "Steel Bars" is awesome in lyrics, and such a great song title. Jill's husband & guitarist Andy Gullahorn provides some great tunes for the debut project. I love "Dry Town", how often we run from GOD and trade off. "Is This What You Wanted" is great styled ccm song. "Live by the Sword" is recorded as it should be, for the listener to take in the lyrics, without hard driving sound interruption. wtg Andy & Jill. Andy & Jill's collaboration "Everyday" closes out this new fresh wind of breathed songs. I love this song! I love how she sings it; We would love to dance everyday! Jill's music is such a welcomed addition to CCM, thanks for climbing aboard Jill, GOD Bless! -Don
