Comment:
It was in the early 90's that I first heard Ian's music, Psalms Vol 4, and when I played it at home, I remember being overawed at the powerful intensity of it especially Ps 49 "No man Can redeem the life of Another". I stood in the kitchen with my ears to the speakers, my head bowed in reverence of the power of God's Word. At that time the Word of Faith Movement was in high gear and my life was radically changed as it was revealed how the Word of God is powerful and the authority of God Almighty. Here at last was music that was the Word of God, skillfully played by gifted and talented musicians, excellent production and easy to sing. To this day the 6 Volumes are by far my favourites and they are the only music I can play when I'm preparing to teach or proclaim God's Word. It is uncanny how many times that a line of a psalm will play at exactly the time I am looking for understanding into a subject that I'm about to teach on, or I will get tremendous revelation or clear understanding into the scriptures as a whole. I play and sing them when travelling to my place of ministry. I have never tired of them or considered them outdated and would encourage every person to make the effort and acquire them from Ian at Little Misty Music or your Christian Bookshop. When my children were approaching young teens I had wired the house for sound and everynight I played the Psalms as they were going to bed and I did see a change in their behavour for the better. "God's Word is living and active and sharper than any 2 edged sword, piercing and dividing soul and spirit and joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart" Heb 4:12 God bless you Ian.
