Comment: Silas was my Stepdad's older brother. He died in 1967 in Los Angeles, CA. My Stepdad was also a singer. His name was Gaines Steele and was a replacement singer for one of the original Ink Spots. He later had his own group, The Four Tunes. He died in 1991 of cancer.
