Thanks so much for writing about Christian writers and musicians, especially pre 1950s, that most of us have forgotten. My parents had me late in life so they often played radio and recordings from the 20s, 30s, and 40s. I've been looking for music for years since it gave me great faith and excellent musical training at a young age. If I might make one suggestion: while Amy Grant was very talented and most influential on the pop Christian scene, I believe Terry Clark was a greater influence on the worship scene not only regarding individual songs but his song progressions ( aka playlist) designed to lead individual hearts and congregations into worship and praise. I would also speculate, taking your list into the next century that Micheal Card (especially lyrics) will eventually become recognized as an influential hymn composer for future generations. Thanks for listening.
