There's a group of us in Memphis that was so inspired and encouraged by Andrae. We love him immensely and appreciate him deeply. Most of his songs bring back memories of me getting to know the Lord as a teen and understanding his purpose for my life.

I have been inspired by the story behind Andrae Crouch's "Through it all" which I read in one of his biographies many years ago, and have just spent some time doing some research on it to share it with my Bible Study class tonignt as study the topic of "Christian Suffering". I did not find the background story to the song, but I mut say that I was truly blessed by our brother's testimony and all I read about his amazing contribution to the world of Christian music over the last four decades.

As a young family, we traveled and sang. At one point even being an opening group for him. The bulk of the music was Andrae. On the turntable, or in the 8-track...Andrae. His music had quality and crossed socio-economic barriers. Song writers and gospel musicians need to sit and take note of the quality of his ever contemporary music. Thanks Andrae for the years.

I just met Mr. Crouch today (feb. 24th 2007) and I have to say He is Amazing. He has so much love for life and God. He has so much to give still I can't wait for His future projects to come out. I love who He is and what He stand for. He has inspired me to be the best me ever. His music is the most requested for me to sing. I was trully blessd by His pesence and conversation today.

Great interview. Andrae doesn't know it, but he was my mentor from afar. The first role model I evr had in starting out in music. He is a blessing to generations. He's lyrics, sincerity are the real deal. I have introduced my children to him. He will never be forgotten .

I can't even begin to express the great contributions dear brother Andrae Crouch has made to society. From "Oh Happy Day" to "Praises" to "Soon and Very Soon", he has been blessed to grace our lives with his highly Christ edifying music and lyrics. "To God be the glory for the things He has done."

"Oh Happy Day" was recorded and released by Edwin Hawkins, not my dear uncle, Andraé Crouch.
But still you are right, Pastor Andraé has contributed a huge Blessing and many musical gifts to all the world.
