This MOG(MAN OF GOD) and all the ANGELS (HEAVILY) came to a lil town called HURSTBORO back in the day. MAn, I tell you that GOD showed up when the man sang on the BLOOD. LORD, The BLOOD IS SO IMP. But you hardly hear songs like that now. God Bless those who have transitoned that taught us the GOOD NEWS.

This Is the most Honorable Man OF GOD that I've seen in time. Such an inspiring music esp. the one on the BLOOD . I grew up on that when I was in middle school. My mama didn't realize on the importance but It surely kept me when I didn't know what else to call. The Blood Of Jesus . Lord, I'm sorry to find out this man has transitioned but the MELODY STILL LIVES ON..

I am so sadden to just read about the passing of Slim. That is what we called him here in Jackson, Mississippi. I was taking care of my husband Charlie during the time of his passing and had not heard.
I, also, lost my Charlie on July 2008 after he suffered a stroke in 2000 and went home to be with the Lord.
Whenever Slim and the Supreme Angels were in Mississippi, we always went to their performance and bought many old records and new cd's that will always be cherished memories that time cannot destroy nor years erase. Slim will always be a legendary in our thoughts and I do plan to do "Moments in Black History" on Slim at our church if the Lord's willing.

I first remember seeing Slim & The Supreme Angels at a small town in south Georgia years ago and again at a theater in Atlanta Georgia, on both occassions there was a stirring of souls from the spirit of their music.

I missed him coming to Houston with the others great gospel giants. His song "Have You Heard"is my favorite and I like to let his family know he is still missed on this earth.

I was touched by the genuine goodness that came through Rev. Hunt's music ministry. I know God is blessing him right about now.

I just loved slim and the supreme angels even though I never meet slim. I enjoyed the songs, they just bring back so many memories. I was born and raised in MS and I can remember riding home from church and my mother would turn on the radio and slim would be singing song like Farewell and Goodbye or Shame on you. My mother used to sing in the church choir and even lead one of slim's songs Where shall I be when that first trumpet sound. I can go on forever about slim and the supreme angels I just enjoyed the music. "Yall better make change, you better change I'm talking to everybody out there you better change wait a mintue.. squeeze it suga..
