I just want to say, I hope Mr Hollister, and everyone on this thread, stays under God's Word!!- As you see, everything else is unreliable. I used to drink like a fish, and thought I could never be delivered! Three years later, I haven't had one!! It's not about perfection though, as much as it is , wanting to please Our Lord!!! LOVE Y'ALL!

Wow!!! I only came to this article after listening to Pandora this morning...a very familiar voice came on..I was listening to my gospel station "Israel Houghton"...but when the song played, I thought I was listening to a secular station...
The voice was sooo smooth and familiar that I checked the name and sure enough it was Dave Hollister. I have many fond memories of listening to Hollister back in 2001-2003. As I listened to the song "Help Me," I thought what ever happen to Dave H. Why hasn't came out with another album. I Googled "What Ever Happen to Dave Hollister?" To my surprise, this man's life has been changed. Saved and singing for the Lord. Wow!!! What a testimony for so many young people. God is everywhere and shows up in many different situations to humble us and bring us into His presence. Praise God for another angel has wings!

I've loved D Hollister since he went SolO. I initially didn't care for baby-mama drama mainly because I couldn't relate. As I got older and could relate to more of his genuine 'love songs' I really fell for him all over again. Once my own marriage ended I didn't listen to his music as much. I becamw withdrawn and depressed, full of failure thoughts. David is featured on a song 'Grateful' a gospel song and he tore it up! I wasnt aware of his gospel releases and will definately go get that. God is good!! I'm better, so much better.

I have truly enjoyed this story about Dave Hollister. This lets me and others know that God is real and is able to make a "transition" to anyone and any situation. This also lets us all know that there are truly angels that take care of us.

Just want to say that, this is truly amazing. I have been a fan since the beginning, and was trying to find some interesting things about where u come from. Little did i know of his reason for transition. I was in a similar situation some time ago, but never looked at it that way. His testimony has opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking and living. i know that change is coming and i want to be ready and willing when it does. This is my testimony.
