Danny Taylor was 35 when I met him. So I see that he
died at 64. Well, it's all in the hands of them Good Lord.

I just did some online research on July 11, 2012. I de-
cided to look up Danny Taylor and I am sorry to find out
about his passing. However, I know he's now with the Lord. I met him on a church retreat that I went on up at
Camp Pinnacle in East Byrne, NewYork. He was quite
humorous and a very faithful performer. He was very inspirational in his songs and his speech. On that very day back in 1981, I had a ball singing along with him, a time I will always remember.

I remember attending several concerts over the 4th of July in upstate New York in the early-to-mid 70's. I have one of his vinyl recordings "Danny Taylor, Live at Carnegie Hall" We will miss you, and we know you're singing up in heaven!

WOW. As a new 14 year old christian in 1978 I loved Danny's music on our local radio and treasure my LP of I'm not a one- man show. I especially love his song of Gentile and Jew. "The risen Christ has given His life for the Gentile and Jew....Bless the Lord! Grateful to read all of these testimonys of how he shared his Love of the Lord with so many.

Danny Taylor was an original. During the 70's he
brought hundreds of young people the good news of
Jesus in upstate N.Y. He loved deeply and his music
influenced thousands of us. I have tried to find him
for some time. Now I know where he is. We often sing his songs. Remember "the Jesus kind of Life" ..."Good morning Jim......what a remarkable man. Don Hawkinson and Ruthie Hawkinson give our love to Sandy.

DANNY came to my thoughts today and decided to find him on fb. I was 20 years old when i heard his concert at buff state Oct.28 1971. He said it was his birthday and the next day his was playing his banjo in the union. I walked up to him and ask if he would talk to me;so he invited me for lunch and share His Lord. thank Danny for sharing with me with me .
that was the day I was born again

Danny met my sister when she was a teen, I was 2 years younger in Port Crane NY, might have been 1969 or 1970. He gave her a copy of Taylor Made with a nice personal note written on it. It reads `Sandy, It was nice to meet you. I pray that you will look to your heart and know the meaning of this album-I pray it will speak to you- Yours always in Jesus - Danny Taylor. I still have the cover.

We met Danny back in the early 1980's. We had moved to Nashville and heard about a live radio show that was being produced at a church in Donnellson, TN just east of Nashville. We didn't know anything about Danny but from that from the moment we met a very deep friendship began and for the next couple of years Deb and I were with Danny every week helping with the show. Danny was the host, producer, regular performer, creative genius and all around answer man. He drew from the many years of experience he had acquired and was always quick to share, instruct, disciple and mentor all who walked through the door. Those couple of years spent with Danny are some of the fondest memories Deb and I have of our time in Nashville. We learned so much from Danny and would spend hours together talking about spiritual ideas and thoughts, to music, politics, life....it was great. The last time we saw Danny was in the fall of 1984. Danny came by to see our new daughter and basically to say he was leaving Nashville for a while. We never saw him again. Just this past week, I came across an old Danny Taylor album as well as a recording of one of the radio shows. Deb decided to look again on line to see if we could find Danny and that's when we learned of his passing January of this year. Danny, you’ve always had a special place in our hearts...we've missed you tremendously...but the incredible part is that someday we will see you again. You made a difference in our lives and the lives of countless others. Thank you for letting God use you my friend. Our lives were changed and made better because our Father saw fit to have our paths cross with yours. Love you always Danny!
