I love his music i am a Christian God is about love and Mac Powell is his son and He loves him. I think as sister in Christ i will support mac powell in his venture to mainstream. Non believers will love his music and will probably get to hear some of Third Days Music. We are to bring non believers yo our Lord doesnt mean he is in the world but letting the world know Christians are people and go thru the same things in life and struggles. Only difference is we got Jesus.

I recently overreacted to the old news of Mac Powell going secular in 2012. I did love the part about him being backed up by "Backsliders" (died laughing). God cracks me up. Well, My first thought was that the regular world is gonna love him and keep him, but I just listened to his album and I don't think that anymore. No offense, but it's just not anointed. Not one song had the killer punch of the likes of Revelation. I like him praising God, not girls.......

Bummer, Mac, dang! Well, we know that God's specialty is turning bad things to good, so here's hoping you get another good 3d Day song out of this bad move. Maybe call it SWEET BABY JESUS WHAT WAS I THINKIN'? I'm gonna be lookin' for it........

I know Mac Powell is a Christian and I have no problem with the country music he is singing but I do have an issue about him singing in bars. When I sent him a tweet about whether this was true all I got back was "yep". Kind of arrogant response for a loyal Third Day fan like myself. Already he seems to be turning his nose up to all the Christians who have supported him all these years. Still love the group just disappointed and little hurt by his response.

Mac should have just thrown a few of his songs in the Third Day mix. It doesn't all have to be Jesus. But....they've been together as a band fir a long time...it was an insult to have someone called the backsliders for music. Really? Mark, Tai, David could have done it. it. Nothing wrong with tossing little beeboppy country songs in here and there. But Mac doesn't
have to leave the band behind to do it. They're a team. The Lord has used and blessed them.

I'm a born again believed and I listen to George Strait. Does that mean I'm not right with God?
Sheesh! C'mon people. Mac himself said he's been writing country songs for a long time. While you were listening to "Cry Out To Jesus", he had several country songs filed away in his archives that he'd written already.
Don't put God in a box. What happens when a person who ONLY listens to secular country who doesn't know the Lord, hears one of Macs songs. Then is captivated by what they hear. Then find out who Mac Powell is and starts listening to his spirit filled stuff? Gets a touch from God.
Don't put God in a box. As long as Mac is not crossing any moral issue lines, he's being a light in a dark place.

I will never purchase anymore 3rd day music. Choose this day whom you will serve, God or man!? You either hate the one and love the other.
I will show this to and pass along to all that I know. But at the same time I will coninue to keep Mac in my prayers. We must love others as christ loves us. But yet does not mean I agree with the mans career choices.

I turned on the Dove awards one year and heard one of the greatest sounds ever, it was third day! All the years later nothing has changed Mac is one of my models of music and song writing
However no two people will see things the same way Mac dont get messed up like " joel osteen" and become a huge disappointment to true christians everywhere
