I have the song from the tape, Press On. I am teaching from Psalm 139 and will use the song to end the lesson. My husband taught the Psalm and used the song to end the lesson when he taught it for Sunday school at church. He has gone home to Jesus and I am continuing his legacy! I am going to try and get the tape put on CD so it will last! The entire CD is fantastic!

I used to have a copy of "Press On" by the Dan Burgess Singers. I played it over and over. I lost the tape about five years ago and I've been trying to find one another one ever since. I would really appreciate it if you can help me obtain a copy of it somehow.

I am looking for the song, You Are There, from the Ps 139. That song spoke so powerfully to me for 2 years, we did it at Willamette Christian Center, Ron Cocran was the music pastor. Any help finding it would be great. Thanks. Bob

Hi Bob, we were in choir w/ you at WCC and sang this song, and we, too, are looking for "You are There" There is a recording by Lynette Pickering that is "close" but not near as good as Gail Ferrell. You can find it on the internet and she sells them. Funny to see your request here!

I have the tape, Press On by Dan Burgess; I got it back in 1989 after I heard it on the radio in CO when I lived there for awhile. That was in 1987, 88 and my mother was here, in MN, she was in a coma. The song, You Are There, really ministered to me at that time and continues to do so to this day. It is one of my favorite songs; I have been trying to get it on CD. That is how I found this site; I am trying to find the song on CD.

I would also love to find where I can purchase a copy of Press On....I will try GoodLife Publications. Dan Burgess must have been extremely gifted for the tremendous songs he wrote that Glorify the Lord Jesus!

I am looking for this tape as well...I cannot find it anywhere. Although mine was a GoodLife Productions soundtrack, arranged by Winnie Swaim (Springfield MO). Is there any hope of ever finding this accompaniment tape again?

I have it on a record album, "PRESS ON". I do not have it on tape.

I to have been desperately trying to find "You are There" by Gail Farrell & the Dan Burgess Singers.
I did an in-depth study of Psalms 139 several years ago which so beautifully speaks of the omniscience, the omnipresence, the omnipotence, and the omni-righteousness of God. I first heard this song played by a local Christian radio station here in Houston (KHCB-Keeping Him Close By). My spirit was so touched by this beautiful rendition and I did my own praise dance. How can you not be so touched by a God who will never ever leave you?
Ever since I heard it I knew I had to have it. After looking everywhere
to no avail, KHCB plays music by special requests every Saturday from 12:30-4:00pm.
You can call them & 713-520-5200 locally or toll free at 1-888-777-KHCB.
Saturday I called and requested that this song be played. Wonderful music is constantly being played as everyone is requesting their favorite songs. Another suggestion is to listen by internet @KHCB.org
