How not to write a Christian review: (1) Using Cynical, fleshly, worldly, negative (basically unchristian) words to undermine another Christians ministry.

In what ways does this review equip, build up or encourage the body of Christ or Chris and Jennie Orange? Who have, if you had done any research, put together the funds for the album themselves. Also the article fails to mention that all the donations go to help abandoned orphaned children in Thailand. To me this reveals the true heart of a worshipper to help widows and orphans.

I am pleased that in the UK we have people like Chris and Jennie who seek the Lord in all they do.

I am very disappointed that you have published such a negative, sarcastic and derogatory review. You have used sarcasm to ridicule the words in the worship songs I feel this is very inappropriate especially as they are quoting scriptures!

I honestly feel like crying that another Christian can be so publically horrible to another Christian. If you had ever had the priveledge to be in the same room as Chris or Jennie you would understand the humble, beautiful manner with which they lead their lives and lead others to worship.

I guess at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you think, we are all acountable. I wonder what Jesus thinks of Chris and Jennies album.

Surely one of the functions of a worship leader and therefore their chosen song is to help bring the congregation into the Lords presence? Repetition of phrases, especially scripture, is a dynamic tool to taking ground in the Spirit as the congregation increase in faith as they sing a particular truth. Born out of 1000's hours of leading others in worship in small and large corporate settings, they have made an honest rendition of their 'style' accessable for those who want to press into the Lords presence at home, whilst raising awareness and essential money for an orphanage in Thailand.

Aside from the harsh comments from the reviewer. Thanks again to Chris and Jennie for again bringing together worship which is inspired by seeing the church living out the great commision, or great compassion as Chris and Jennie Orange see it. Chris' voice again exudes the humility and passion of a man in pursuit of Jesus. This EP is rich in scripture and perfect for both personal and corporate worship and intercession. Incidentally I want you to be aware that the 'donations welcome' you refer to are not for Chris and Jennie as you wrongly infer but all monies are for a Christian home for disabled orphans in Thailand. Chris has the heart of a true worshipper and I thank him for this wonderful contribution.

Who are you angry at Peter? Your review gives no reflection of either the high quality of the musicianship or the power of the truths evident on this EP. You may prefer lyrics which don't declare scriptural truth so plainly - that is your privilege - but it's pretty slack of you to omit that the 'donations welcome' are in aid of Thai orphans and not (as seems to be implied) for the band.

Fine, except that the cliches you mention are all scripture based. Perhaps this album is an attempt to sing scripture, which is a very good devotional tool. Do I sense that the point of this album has been lost on the reviewer?
