I have four of their LPs converted to CD. I liked the band, it's too bad they split up. "I Am" is good, but so are the rest of the songs on the album. I like the song "Little Children" off of their album "At The Door". They use the sound of children laughing at the into and the end of the song.
Their was a lot of good CCM in the 70's. It's too bad that it's all out of print. I wish CCM was like secular music. With secular music, for the most part, albums don't go out of print. I know that if the CCM industry would re-release all of their old albums on CD I would scarf them up.

I was in a CCM band back in the late 70's and early 80's called "Wave Walker" that performed "I Am" as a cover tune. I would love to find a recording of that song again.
If you have any suggestions as to how I could get a copy of "I Am," please let me know.

Kraig Wall is alive and well in Franklin, TN. He and his wife ( my sister ) have their own church just outside of Nashville, TN. He still produces and records Christian Music. They have 3 grown children.
Greg Wall is living in their hometown of Sioux City, Iowa. He is also married with three grown children.

I have an autographed album pictured on the front of the "Start All Over Again" album. Randy Nelson, Greg Wall, Dennis Holt, and Kraig Wall each signed the cover.
It belonged to my Mom.

The Wall Brothers came to KCC now Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, KY I believe either late 1980 or early 1981. They had good sound and orignal music. They made an impact on a few folks who went out soon after graduation. In particular, a few used a handful of their songs during their own presentations. Especially, the song "I AM".
What I remember most was the lead singer, probably a Wall Brother complaining how difficult economically it was to make a living doing this (touring). I was a little surprised how frank he was considering it was a concert and venue to worship.

I finished HS in Iowa in 1971, a couple of years before Craig and Graig Wall, and attended the same church as the bassist on their "Start All Over," Randy Nelson, but due to my college years being in Tennessee, could only attend one of their concerts, and that was back in the spring of 1977 at Morningside College. I too am disappointed the group is not together, but just today I was listening to "Start All Over" and thanking God for the great music and lyrics, and wondering if it wasn't maybe just the way it should be.
I found a source for sheet music for the song "I Am" for those here who have expressed an interest.

I've often wondered what happed to you. Myrt & I are living just south of KC where I planted a church 5 yrs. ago. Thanks for the kind words. What I remember about you is that you were one of the best B-ball players I knew.

We (Celebrate Revovery Worship Team Band" play this song, and I have been trying to find the Wall Brothers version to see if it is the same. Our song starts out: There was an old man in the desert / Got a sign from the Lord / Noah build me a vessel...

Could you email me the lyrics to IAM. I have searched for years trying to find them. I wish I could buy a CD of it. But I can see that is almost impossible. My first official date in college was to their concert. But the song, what I remember of it still brings tears to my eyes. Thanks in advance.
