Hello to you all. Eleanor Wright was my mother and we are working hard to make her music available online. The Guild of Adventist Musicians is also working on a documentary of her life and music so we would love to hear your stories. Write to me any time at mlw3355@gmail.com. I will post at this site when the music is available online.

If there is any way to get information on where I can purchas Eleanor Wright and The Blendwrights' CD, I would really appreciate it. Her music is timeless. Does anyone know if she sang 'The Redeemed are Home at Last."

Yes, Edwina, the Blendwrights did sing "Hallelujah, Home at last." Not sure if she sang the lead or not. But her nephew has a compilation of their music.

Eleanor Wright was a devout follower of Christ who wrote and sang from the rich experiences God placed in her path. I last heard her sing at First SDA Church in Washington DC. It was my privilege to go by her home in Ohio as a college student. Although she was tired she took time to talk to me and another young lady who visited. I wish her music was available online to purchase. What a great experience it would be to have some of her old home movies or taped songs on YouTube. I would love to be able to see her with the Blendwrights singing "These Are the Hands"or alone singing "Do you love God". I agree that she is one of the best artists of our time. Talent and humility were the sweet gifts she left as her legacy. All praises to God for making her a blessing to us.

Has that 12 inch vinyl been put on CD? I'd love to have some of her music. I remember hearing her and the BlendWrights as a child. Of course, I couldn't purchase her music then, but am very interested in anything I can get.
