Cross Rhythms celebrates online broadcasting

CROSS RHYTHMS launched its contemporary music radio station on the Internet on 31st October. Coming two months after receiving the opportunity to take part in the government's Access Radio pilot scheme and only six months after the miraculous provision of the BBC studios in Stoke, the webcasting further extends the reach and accessibility of Cross Rhythms broadcast (Cross Rhythms also broadcasts 24hrs a day on Digital Satellite channel 876).

The Internet radio site is held at www.crossrhythms.co.uk Alongside live streaming there are also in-studio images. Said Cross Rhythms General Manager, Jonathan Bellamy, "In the under-resourced world of the Christian youth media it has taken us a long time to get to this point. However, the Internet is in the blood of our 21st century culture and as Christians we must have credible voices in the market place to influence the hearts and minds of our generation".
