North Carolina's Philmont get backing from fans to release EP

NORTH CAROLINA-based pop rockers Philmont will release 'The Transition EP' on 19th October. An independent release, the project is being partially funded by fans who have pledged more than $4,000 to date and is the follow up to the group's critically acclaimed 'Attention' CD released in August 2009. Said Philmont frontman Scott Taube, "It's been a couple of years since we wrote the majority of 'Attention'. We've experienced a lot in life since then - both joys and struggles - and we feel like this growth is reflected on the new EP." The project will be available through digital outlets. CR
