More success for BCDO

FRIDAY 2nd June, Saturday 3rd June and Friday 26th May and Saturday 27th May saw the continuing expansion of the Big Church Day Out events, held this year in Wiston House, West Sussex (South) and Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire (North). Attendances of approximately 25,000 (South) and approximately 10,000 (North) saw the event featuring such acts as Bethel Music, Switchfoot, Reuben Morgan (Hillsong Worship), Mary Mary, Rend Collective, Michelle Williams, LZ7, The Abrams, The Newsboys and Casting Crowns go from strength to strength. Said Cross Rhythms music editor Tony Cummings, "I am convinced that BCDO is the most significant movement that God has raised up, both within the world of music and more generally in the British Church in recent years. It is doing untold good for the spiritual atmosphere of this nation and the outworking of the Gospel in thousands of believers lives." CR
