Melissa Greene, The Myriad, Keith & Kristyn Getty to get big US push

THE NEW American Christian record company Kosmos Records being launched by Koch Records (the largest independent record company in the world) has announced the signing of Melissa Greene, formerly a member of hitmaking CCM group Avalon. Kosmos have also secured distribution deals with Floodgate Records (the Californian label founded by The Prayer Chain's Tim Taber and which features such acts as Cool Hand Luke and Rita Springer). The first project under the new deal will be the album 'You Can't Trust A Ladder' by The Myriad, who will be touring the US with the David Crowder Band this autumn. The second distribution deal is with Martingale Music, headed by former Warner Brothers executive Eric Wyse. The first release under the new deal is 'In Christ Alone' by Keith and Kristyn Getty. CR
