ONE OF THE seminal figures in the development of funk music, Bootsy Collins, has become a Christian. Bootsy, remembered best for his work with George Clinton's Funkadelic/Parliament, has been asked to produce two songs on the forthcoming album by rappers DOC. The tunes will be remakes of past Bootsy hits "Wind Me Up" and "Hollywood Squares".
