Carolyn Arends picks up awards in her Canadian homeland.

CANADIAN singer/songwriter Carolyn Arends, who released critically acclaimed albums for Reunion Records in the '90s before being dropped by the company, has returned with major acclaim in her homeland. Her latest independent release 'Under The Gaze' was named Folk Album Of The Year and Inspirational Album Of The Year at Canada's Christian music honours, the Shai Awards, in May. Carolyn also won an award for Seasonal Album Of The Year for her 'Christmas: An Irrational Season' release. CR
