THE MOST popular gospel choir since the Edwin Hawkins Singers, the Mississippi Mass Choir, were recently the subject of a front-page story in America's mainstream music industry magazine Billboard.

The MMC whose album 'It Remains To Be Seen' is currently at number one in America's gospel chart where the album has been lodged for 45 weeks. The choir's three albums, their record company Malaco Records of Atlanta reports, have sold a total of 700,000 copies.
