The Edinburgh festival is to have Christian input in its arts festival

THE WORLD'S largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival, is to have major Christian input this year, courtesy of an initiative put together by independent record label Room 3 Records. A series of Christian music concerts are to be held at the 800 seater St George s West Church from 11th to 20th August followed by acoustic cafe events. Those booked to appear are Britain s leading gospel choir LCGC; popular worship leader Ian White; American singer/songwriter Jennifer Knapp; Edinburgh rock band Nervous Passenger; Welsh songsmith Martyn Joseph; Newcastle rock praise team Yfriday; pioneering Scottish band Land; Celtic vocalist Shona McDonald; alternative rock unit IndigoEcho; children s artist Stephen Fischbacker; Irish worship man Robin Mark and Scottish rock team Superhero.
