Torquay to host new outreach project

SEASIDE town Torquay is to get a new outreach project for those aged 18 to 30. Martin and Louise Ruskin, leaders of the Kings Arms church, are using the premises of popular local night club Claires on a monthly basis to communicate the gospel in a "non-churchy" environment. The venue is booked for six dates from 27th June. They will play a selection of sanctified dance music - Absolute Abandon with DJ Mark Wadie - and a mixing of drum and bass tunes with a "hip hop flavour" from Dave Horton.

Later on in the year, Kings Arms church want to bring in their own live dance music played by the new immerse band. To find out more, contact Scot Bower (01803 323951), 31B Parkfield Road, Torquay TQ1 4AL. CR
