Disco diva Donna Summer writes autobiography

RECORDING star and one time disco diva Donna Summer has written her much anticipated autobiography, Ordinary Girl: The Journey. The book, published by Villard/Random House, has already received favourable reviews. The singer, now a committed Christian, said, "It's a documentation of things that happened in my life. My ups and downs, my triumphs and tragedies, my spiritual awakening."

A new greatest hits compilation, The Journey: The Very Best Of Donna Summer', has just been released by Universal Music/Mercury to tie in with the book. CR
