Dorinda Clark-Cole one of the readers on new The Word Becomes Flesh audio Bible.

AMERICA's popular gospel singer Dorinda Clark-Cole is one of 38 women who have been chosen to read a new audio version of the Bible. Targeted at women, The Word Becomes Flesh will feature the best selling New Century Version (NCV). Dorinda commented on her involvement in the project, "It was wonderful to hear the great Gospel read in such an authentic and engaging way. The Word Becomes Flesh has such a life changing message and makes you feel like you are right there in the Bible times... It is a 'must have' in my collection of Bible CDs."

Dorinda and all the readers featured on The Word Becomes Flesh have donated their royalties to Mercy Ministries, a non-profit residential programme for girls aged 13 to 28 dealing with problems such as eating disorders, chemical addictions, pregnancy, depression and abuse. Publishers Thomas Nelson are also making a substantial donation to the ministry. CR
