Arthur Martin forms a new gospel record label

A NEW black gospel record label has been formed by impresario Arthur Martin and director of the Angelical Voice Choir Simon Wallace.

Martin has been involved with promoting gospel for several years and has approached major labels on behalf of several of the artists on his books.

"The companies don't want to touch gospel at the moment" he explained, "so the only way to do it is to do it ourselves. At the moment we're involved in setting up nationwide distribution for the label. The Angelical Voice Choir single

"Together We'll Make It" will be our first release - we're sending pre-release copies out to the radio stations at the moment."

The label plan releases by Channels Of Praise and The Leeds Choral Gospel Group in the near future. CR
