I first saw Michael perform in Inverness many years ago. He would have been around 20 yrs or so at the time. He was fantastic. My friend and I had a wonderful night. He was such a brilliant entertainer and so talented. I would love to see him again, and hope he returns to Eden Court Theatre, Inverness.

We have just come back from the Donegal Shore Festival of Kincasslagh where we saw Michael for the first time and realise what we have been missing, he is a fantastic musician, but the reason I am writing is to say how refreshing it was to hear Michael tell us and play a piece he wrote for his Parish Priest for his 50year Jubilee Father Brendan and went on to tell us that after his Mother had a bad accident how good the Clergy and the nuns were to him and his siblings they all have done great good works but we never hear about that but hear plenty about the abuse stories now I feel dreadful about those poor children but let us remember there are great priests and nuns out there,so good on you Michael

Hi Michael, You probably don't remember me. I am a Franciscan priest, I was based in Waterford for a while, I am now in Clonmel Co Tipperary. I used to go and listen to you when you used to come to the Rhu Glen. Your songs I have always enjoyed. Especially your spiritual ones, you sing them with so much feeling and passion. There is one song I would love you to sing, it is called Seasons in the Sun. It brings back so many happy memories to me of a best friend who died some years ago. I would love you to sing it but then I guess you get so many requests to sing certain songs. I uderstand. Keep up the good work. I missed you when you came to Clonmel. We had a very ill friar in the community at the time. He has since died Lord rest him. Would love to hear from you. Keep singing you bring so much joy in a world that needs it. Ciao John
