Taxi minibuses are playing Christian music and gospel messages throughout South Africa

CASSETTE tapes carrying Christian music and short gospel messages are being played daily throughout South Africa by hundreds of taxi minibuses. Ferrying up to 16 people each, the popular minibuses transport millions of the country's workforce each day, providing a massive "captive audience" for the gospel project. Hundreds of passengers have accepted Christ according to leaders of the Gospel Taxi Club - set up by the World Mission Centre in Pretoria and funded through donations.
