Kirk Franklin takes home eight awards from the 15th Stellar Awards

AMERICA'S premier gospel music awards, the 15th Stellar Awards held in Atlanta, Georgia on January 8th, gave eight awards, all that he was nominated for, to Kirk Franklin. Among the gospel superstars awards were Artist Of The Year, Song Of The Year ("Lean On Me") and CD Of The Year (The Nu Nation Project'). In his acceptance speech Franklin said, 'To all of the people who were nominated - the ones who can really sing - it was just an honour to be included."
