New label, new releases for ICC

ICC Studios have announced that they will be expanding their sphere of activities to include a label of their own, named ICC. Studio director Helmut Kauffman describes the label as a "natural development" following on from their other areas of involvement. Said Kauffman, "We have been a recording studio for the last 15 years. Over the last 18 months we have established a distribution network to the shops for our ministry cassettes and our Spring Harvest Kid's Praise album."

Two albums are scheduled for 1st April release on the new label. The Remission Gospel Choir are a black gospel choir from Walsall. Their album, 'A Change Is Coming', is produced by Kendrick keyboard-player Steve Thompson. The choir are set to appear at all three Spring Harvest venues, where they aim to minister, and also gain a wider audience.

The first totally in-house production will be 'Jazz Praise', an album of instrumental versions of worship songs, arranged in a jazz style. Musicians involved include Steve Thompson on keyboards, the Remission's Carl McGreggor on drums and Dave Hemming on sax. CR
