As a child I was greatly affected by a cassette album which my mother owned by Hazel Dickinson, which had a song on it called Nothing But Love; this must have been in the early 90’s. I used to listen to it to get me off to sleep each night and would sing to it and keep everyone awake! Hazel's love for the Lord stole my heart even then and she inspired me to sing! Unfortunately I no longer have the tape as I have moved house a few times, but I’ve been trying to locate it ever since, I loved her music so much and can remember every song. I also sing, so I would like to get in touch with her or at least try my best to bring her music into churches by doing contemporary cover versions. After an extensive Google search I found this link on your website with a review of her album:

I am so pleased to find this and was hoping you would be able to tell me where I could buy it, or if you would have Hazel’s email address so I could contact her to say thank you for bringing me to God. Music is such a powerful force and it would be lovely to hear her songs again, I want her to know how much she affected a little girl's life for the better. I really appreciate your help and anything you would be able to do, I know it is a long shot but I would at least love to have this album again.

Many thanks :-)

Hazel Dickinson visited Grahamstown South Africa in 1992. I went to her concert and was so blessed, I bought her album "Strength of my life" after the show.

In many ways the album help me to focus my mind on God and cling to him during that really tough year and beyond. I cannot find the cassette anymore but still have the case. I still find myself singing those songs, especially when I need to lean on the Lord for strength (most days lately). I am now married with 3 children, some 22 years later and I would love to share those original tracks with them.

Is there any way I can get hold of them? Even if it's on cassette?

Hazel, if you get this email, I cannot tell you enough how special that album was to me, I have tears in my eyes as I recall those days when I would cry out to the Lord as I sung along to your album. I am most grateful to your obedience to Him in coming to South Africa, and to Grahamstown that year. Thank you.

God richest blessing and warmest regards
James

I have a cassette from years ago labelled Hazel Dickinson and with the song featuring 'Strength of My Life'. I was just searching the web to see if there was any new material OR to find out of this was on CD etc?

I would be interested to learn more or get an update. The cassette was given to me years ago by a friend who thought the words would minister to me at that time - which it did and is why out of all cassettes, its one I have hung on to.

Blessings xx
Paula
