MercyMe enjoying a major American hit with 'Undone'.

AMERICAN pop rock hitmakers MercyMe are celebrating their success after scooping four awards at the GMA's annual awards ceremony in Nashville and seeing their latest album 'Undone' soar to the top of America's Christian album charts and high in the mainstream album charts. The featured single from the album is "Here With Me". Whilst writing the songs for the new album, lead vocalist Bart Millard recalls how the idea of mainstream radio exposure had not taken over his concentration on Christian issues: "It's all still focussed on God. I was just trying to tap into things that people deal with on an everyday basis," he said. "There's a lot of personal stuff on there about things we've gone through and how Christ has been the solution." CR
