An increase for Latin Music sparks raised popularity at the Exploit event

REFLECTING the huge upturn in Latin Christian music, the Expolit event, held in Miami in May reported a 50 per cent growth this year. Conference director Marie Tamayo told Billboard, "We started out as a bookseller convention - that was our main intention - but as our music industry kept growing, they become the major part of our show. In the exhibition hall, about 35 per cent of the exhibit will be music ministries." Integrity Music are planning to record a live worship album at Expolit this year. CR
