New facts come to life in Lennon in America, by Geoffrey Guiliano

A NEW BOOK claims that John Lennon. the late Beatle who once stated that his group was "more popular than Jesus", made a commitment to Christ before his death. The soon-to-be-published book, Lennon In America by Geoffrey Guiliano, says that in the late '70s the singer had a born again experience and became an ardent fan of Christian broadcaster Pat Robinson, regularly watching the evangelist's The 700 Club programme. The book claims that the singer would kneel in front of the TV. The book also says the artist was bulimic, beat his wife and son, contemplated suicide, and had a premonition of his death. CR
