Interest grows in The Church And The Media Conference

BOOKINGS are building steadily from individuals and churches for The Church And The Media Conference, due to be held in Stoke-on-Trent in September. The historic two day event, on September 14 and 15, at Trentham Gardens, will be the first time for many church goers to interact strategically with media professionals. Those speaking at the event include Joel Edwards (Evangelical Alliance), David Heron (Premier Radio), Alan Scotland (Lifelink Churches), Gareth Littler (Centre for Justice and Liberty), Gerald Coates (Pioneer Churches), Jonathan Bellamy (Cross Rhythms), Baroness Young, Brian Cooke (HCJB), Rory and Wendy Alec (God Digital), Ted Baehr (Movie World USA), Ian Mackie (UCB) and Sam Gordon (Transworld Radio).

Said organiser Chris Cole about the conference, "Never has there been a more important time for Christians to write and creatively respond to what is happening in Britain's media. This conference will provide spiritual sustenance to Christian media professionals while at the same time envision other Christians to begin to develop a counter culture mentality for a battle the Church has to win." More information can be obtained from the Conference hotline on 01782 814417.
