Boise, Idaho-based Esterlyn release acoustic EP

THE BAND Esterlyn, who under the name Grand Prize released 'Identity' (2004) before going on to record the 'Lamps' album, have released a new acoustic EP, 'Mending The Meaning'. Said the band's frontman Luke Caldwell, "Over the past few months I have been writing frequently and really have had the desire to record an acoustic EP. It is filled with things that are going on in my heart and mind as well as drawing inspiration from creation itself to my family and ministry. I met with producer Rob Hawkins (Fireflight, Nevertheless) and we recorded these five songs in four days. We tried to keep it simple and focus on the melody and the message. I pray it speaks to you as these songs have encouraged me. The official release date is January 2009 however it is available online now." CR
