Oz Fox, Michael Bloodgood to minister at this year's Meltdown

TWO OF THE most important figures in the evolution of Christian heavy metal/hard rock, one time guitarist with Stryper Oz Fox and the ex-leader of Bloodgood, Michael Bloodgood, are to minister at this year's Meltdown. The annual teach-in will be held at the Quinta Christian Centre, Oswestry, Shropshire on 10th to 12th November. Fox today is a member of the band Sin Dizzy with another ex-Stryper member Tim Gaines while Michael Bloodgood is now a pastor at a Calvary Chapel church in Redmond, California. Said Meltdown's organiser Dave Williams, "The conference is 11 years old and we felt it was time to acknowledge a couple of the pioneers of Christian rock music. Oz and Mike have contributed so much to metal/hard music and we are really looking forward to their visit."
UK artists booked to play at Meltdown are Unwritten, Crucifer, Paul May, Dave Rowley and new unit Cephas. CR
