Benjamin Jacob Rupe becomes Swingin Hammers on latest album

US SINGER/songwriter Benjamin Jacob Rupe has changed his performing name to Swingin Hammers for a self-titled album released on 10th November. His music, described as "a personal blend of country, rock and Americana," is being favourably received. Said the artist, "Swingin Hammers is a moniker. So I get to tell people 'my name is Ben and I'm Swingin Hammers.' The idea is that we are all swingin' hammers at something. We all are wrestling, fighting, being aggressive with something. Mine happens to be my flesh, my sin, these invisible kingdoms that the Enemy has made around us that the Lord has sent me to tear down."
