Alt country band 16 Horsepower call it a day.

THE MAINSTREAM's alt country band 16 Horsepower fronted by Christian singer/songwriter David Eugene Edwards have announced they have broken up. In a statement the band said, "It is with some regrets but also with confidence that we, 16 Horsepower, have decided to end our journey as a band. We have shared some unforgettable moments and hope to have given you all we could. An accumulation of differences, mostly political and spiritual, separates us today and prevents us from honestly going any further." Edwards' side projects Lilium and Woven Hand will continue. CR
