Black and white worshippers come together in new event

THE ONE VOICE initiative which began in February 2005 with the release of the charity single "One Voice One Heart" by an ensemble of black and white worship leaders has now expanded to a series of events to be held in different UK cities. The first such event takes place in Birmingham on 12th May at Canon Street Memorial Church, Handsworth. Said One Voice's founder Lawrence Johnson, "God is desiring the full spectrum of worship that represents every tongue, every tribe and every nation. The vision of One Voice is to help facilitate bringing this together. We read about it in Revelation chapter 5 and desire to hear the sound of different nations worship together here on earth as it is in heaven." The Birmingham One Voice day will feature contributions from Witness, Cie, Pal Singh, Mike Rimmer and Dave Copeland. For more information phone 07947 562721.
