A lack of profitability forces Pamplin Records to fold

NASHVILLE-based record label Pamplin Records, with such artists as John Elefante, Natalie Grant, Nikki Leonti and Aurora, has folded. The announcement came after 50 staff members were made redundant. The company's founder and CEO, Dr R B Pamplin Jr, told CCM Update, "We spent six years trying to make this a profitable venture. We finally felt the need to close these divisions because of a lack of profitability and a lack of projected profitability."
